Typical offers:

  • AAA in 3 A Levels, with a 4th AS (at least a C)
  • European Law: 3 A’s and French of German
  • Law and Business: AAB, with a 4th AS (at least a C)
  • Law and Sociology: ABB in 3 A Levels
  • No specific subject requirements

Law at Warwick University

  • There are 16 applicants for every one place
  • Most applicants are not interviewed
  • ALL information on the UCAS form used, GCSE profile is VERY important
  • Personal statement is crucial: there is no single correct formula, the University is looking for commitment, work experience, wider reading and engagement with cases in the media, looking for the ability to write and argue well, interest in human rights issues, relationship between law, justice, society, culture or religion, interest in European law and other nations, relationship between law and government, awareness of flaws in the law

General remarks:

  • Not all Law degrees are the same
  • Not all Law degrees are purely vocational
  • Entrance requirements vary significantly
  • RESEARCH IS VITAL
