“Cool monk, Sir!” Commented a member of Year 12.
We were very lucky to welcome to St James today Gen Kelsang Sangye. Sangye has been a Buddhist monk for twenty years. After extensive travels and working in schools throughout the world, Sangye decided to seek ordination as a Buddhist monk. He has taught the Dharma both in the UK and US, and is now based in Wimbledon.
Sangye spoke to 9L, attended lunch and then addressed the Ficino Society which enjoys the patronage of Professor the Lord David Alton of Liverpool.
