Feast of Marsilio Ficino

Today the Sixth Form celebrates the Feast Day of Marsilio Ficino. Our Sixth Form is dedicated to him and we have our own Ficino Society.

The Sixth Form began the day with Tim Fogarty, Year 13, giving a speech about the life of Ficino. During the morning break we celebrated his birthday with hot chocolate and brownies in the Common Room, we were delighted to welcome the Headmaster and Miss Murphy.  Following lunch members of the Sixth Form read extracts of his letters to the School. Then a Sixth Form photo, taken under the watchful gaze of Marsilio himself!
