Some excellent guidance from the BBC.
The Association of Business Executives (ABE) provides qualifications in:
- Business Management (with pathways in Business Management, Financial Management or the Management of Information Systems)
- Human Resource Management
- Marketing Management
- Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management.
All four programmes start with the Diploma (Level 4) then progress through Higher Diploma (Level 5) to the Graduate Diploma (Level 6), with a Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) just in Business Management.
Traditionally ABE students are international with more than 50,000 students studying ABE qualifications worldwide every year. ABE has been in existence since 1973 and is accredited by Ofqual. All ABE qualifications are on the QCF.
ABE qualifications are accepted for entry by more than 80 universities. The Diploma (Level 4) is accepted for the first year of university for the equivalent course, the Higher Diploma (Level 5) for the second year and the Graduate Diploma (Level 6) for the third year.
The qualifications are taught by nearly 200 private and public colleges in the UK. These colleges charge less than universities, so students can save significantly on the cost of their university education. Plus ABE students gain a business qualification that is valuable in its own right.
If you have any questions simply phone ABE’s Registrations team on 020 8329 2930 or go to www.abeuk.com/aboutabe/clearing/.
PS More than 80 universities accept ABE qualifications for entry onto their first, second or final year.
